Safety/Sinker Eyes
Safety eyes are resin craft eyes used to give handmade crochet, amigurumi, plushies, dolls, and stuffed animals a polished, realistic look. They come in a variety of sizes, colors, shapes, and styles, with a post and washer that securely attach them to your project. Despite the name, “safety eyes” are craft components and are not considered safe for children under 3 due to the potential choking hazard.

My safety eyes are designed to give each project its own personality. I create them in a variety of colors, finishes, patterns, pupil styles, and sizes. Many designs include shimmer, glitter, mica powders, foils, and other specialty details. Each pair is finished with UV resin for a smooth, glossy, glass-like appearance. Because they are handmade, slight variations are part of what makes each set unique.
